“Game On!” slots employs yet another lazy double entendre in its conception beyond applying simple-minded stimulus to an otherwise traditional slot format (the “game” being a two-fold soccer game and wild safari sampler of African wildlife).
The one-payline, 3-bar formula that was incepted during the dawn of the slot machine prototype is used here with no modification beyond a digital, magnetron-esque text scroller that reads “goal!” to compliment the audio clip of cheering fans whenever a big win is scored by the respective “player” of the game.
Bets can range between ten cents and ten dollars towards the one payline, and can result in a hopeful but unlikely payout of 4000 coins (i.e. $8,000). The one addition beyond this set-up and essential cut-and-paste of the original, non-complex format is the bonus round feature in which the player can pick an animal amongst three to kick a free round (which really amounts to no more than a re-do of the previous if you hadn’t achieved the bonus round, which aside from alternation of animals is the exact equivalent of omitting the redundant bonus feature from the game altogether).
So if fruits are too boring, or else you are a symbolically devout carnivore, this wild game may just call your name.
