International Game Technology has announced the appointment of a new chief of finance. As of today the new financial chief, John Vandemore will be serving in Pat Cavanaugh’s place that has been with the company for the past three years. Vandemore was previously the Chief financial officer at the Walt Disney Company; he oversaw numerous deals with his 17 years of financial experience and knowledge. His new responsibilities will be to manage IGT’s financial reports, external and internal and manage financial operations around the world. He will also be responsible for global financial planning and analysis for the gambling giants.

Patt Hart, the CEO of International Technology said: “We are pleased to be adding John’s financial experience, strategic leadership and energy to IGT. As we continue to lead and transform the gaming industry, John brings an impressive background in global financial planning and operational excellence that will benefit all of IGT’s stakeholders.” John Vandemore was the Chief of Financial office of Walt Disney Imagineering the creative arm of the Disney’s theme park business.
